Webb14 aug. 2024 · I picked up a cheap active L-band patch antenna from an online seller and stuck it in place of the driven element of a homebew 1500 MHz yagi. Pic attached. Second pic is some of the stuff I received. The antenna was indoors and beaming through a brick wall, I'm sure it would have been a lot better outdoors.
