Also if med are building the cylinder head, i suppose you give them the engine spec to build the head to suit your engine, so why not asking them an opinion? This can make it more difficult to make the upshift smooth. Note that you are talking about moving from a dual mass flywheel to a single mass flywheel, as well.

More flywheel weight, more torque required to change it's speed.
