The FDL dampers are used to prevent the spread of fire within the ventilation ductwork. All fire dampers have a fusible link and spring return actuator. WebbThis is also a semi auto control. If there is fire or intense heat in the vicinity of the control cable (which is a synthetic material), the cable will melt and trigger the flap automatically. This manual activation kit is available for $250 + gst. For a fully automatic system, we can supply the dampers with a 24V DC actuator.
